logineer at transport logistic 2023

For the first time, logineer presented itself at transport logistic in Munich, the international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management, from 9 to 12 May. The IT service provider showcased its full range of services: the digital logistics workplace, transport and warehouse management systems (TMS/WMS), SAP integration, cyber security and much more.

This year’s transport logistic was a big reunion: The fair is held every two years. Due to the corona, it could only be held online in 2021.

After a break of four years, the number of visitors to the Presence event was correspondingly high: More than 75,000 guests from over 120 countries attended the event to see what 2,320 exhibitors from 67 countries had to offer, demonstrating once again the importance of the industry. A real record expo!

Among the exhibitors was, for the first time, the IT service provider logineer, which took part in the joint exhibition area of Hamburg's logistics companies and players: GATEWAY HAMBURG. logineer had six team members on site and used the time not only to present itself, but also to refresh old contacts and make new ones.

The C-level of the logistics industry was represented

There were plenty of high-quality contact opportunities in Munich. "The C-Level of the industry was represented at transport logistic - certainly all the decision-makers of the major forwarding companies, not only from Germany but from all over the world," enthusiastically reports logineer Managing Director Pascal Eggert about the high quality of the visitors.

In turn, the logineer IT experts on site were able to build on their already good contacts in the industry. They have all been working in or for logistics for many years.

"One of our unique selling points is that our 150 employees are just as well versed in logistics as they are in IT. This was confirmed to us repeatedly in discussions at the fair," Eggert points out. "Therefore, the fact that we are still a relatively young company is not a problem for us in such an environment. We have already made a name for ourselves in the year and a half since we started.”

Strong interest in the digital logistics workplace

The topics presented by logineer at transport logistic also offered plenty of opportunities for making contacts: Services for the CargoWise transport management system, for which logineer is now one of the leading service partners, were particularly in demand.

Sales Manager Farzan Said says: "My contacts were also very interested in our offer of a complete digital workplace: For example, many found it exciting that logineer can equip new locations for freight forwarders with everything they need in terms of IT in the shortest possible time - and worldwide! This ranges from hardware to infrastructure, CargoWise and WMS to the modern workplace à la Microsoft 365, SAP Finance and Cyber Security".

The logineer team did not have much time for the exciting congress programme at transport logistic 2023. Sustainability and the shortage of skilled labour were once again two of the hot topics of the discussions. "Digitalisation can make an important contribution to both topics," emphasises Bianca Heitmann, Solutions Manager CargoWise at logineer: "Smart and holistic digitalisation ensures that businesses become more efficient, effective and resource-saving. We help them to implement this successfully."
